Ingredients

  • 12 hot dogs (or spicy hot links) – Choose classic beef, chicken, turkey, or veggie dogs. Hot links add extra spice.

  • 1 tube crescent dough sheet (8 oz) – Crescent rolls make wrapping easy. If perforated, just press seams together.

  • 24 candy eyes – Available in the baking aisle or online during Halloween season.

 

  • Ketchup – Doubles as edible “glue” for eyes and as a dipping sauce. Mustard or mayo also works.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 360°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Slice the dough into thin ½-inch strips using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.

  • Wrap hot dogs with 1–2 strips, leaving a small space for the “face.”

  • Bake for 15–17 minutes until the dough is golden and puffed.

 

  • Add eyes with a dab of ketchup, mustard, or mayo. Serve warm with dipping sauces.
