Description
Ingredients
Scale
- ½ cup unsalted butter: Ensures a creamy base without added salt.
- 4–6 garlic cloves (minced): For that robust garlic flavor.
- 1 tablespoon olive oil: Prevents butter from burning.
- ½ teaspoon salt: Enhances the flavor.
- ½ teaspoon black pepper: Adds a subtle kick.
- 1 tablespoon parsley (chopped): For freshness and a hint of color.
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional): Brightens the flavor.
Instructions
- Melt the butter: In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add olive oil to stabilize the butter and prevent it from burning.
- Sauté garlic: Add minced garlic to the melted butter. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, ensuring the garlic doesn’t brown, as that can make it bitter.
- Season: Stir in salt, pepper, and lemon juice (if using). Allow the flavors to meld for an additional minute.
- Garnish: Remove from heat and mix in freshly chopped parsley for a vibrant finish.
- Serve: Use immediately, or let it cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
